THE Jerusalem Patriarchate has denied reports it was planning to sell property in the occupied north, Paphos Bishop Chrysostomos said yesterday.

The reports, published in Politis on Sunday, said that the Jerusalem Patriarchate was engaged in negotiations to sell its land in occupied Kyrenia and Mia Milia.

Four die in weekend of carnage on the roads

THE NUMBER of fatalities yesterday rose to 72 after four more people lost their lives on the roads this weekend. The total is six higher than on the same date last year, police said.
