Why should we be made to pay?

Dear Sirs,

I am a Cypriot born in the UK and have returned to my homeland after many years. It annoys me so much that most invaders, as in our case Turkey, have forced us to pay reparations, and make concessions in negotiations, according to me – they are the bad guys. Why are we always making concessions to them? Why do we always come across on the world stage as the aggressors? And why doesn’t our government remind the world of these things? Iraq will not only be paying reparations to Kuwait for the next 50 years but also be paying the US for invading it!!! WHAT ABOUT US. Stop GIVING.
